Final work?

Final job of the season? 
Self-acceptance?
What has life been teaching me? 
Fear can have a purpose, 
for a time
then let it go

The source of fear
can be hard to see
and can start to own you
Then it's time to surrender 
Release what’s big and scary inside
clear a path to gold
How does fear relate
to self-acceptance?
We might fear 
being found out
Though it's vague.

To say I’m okay
I can be discovered
Is to discard fear
of exposure
and accept
